To Have Heart and to Hold

There's adversity. That's life.

Some people act like, "No, not for me." But come on, really now?

I think anyone who takes that perspective is saying other people don't matter; that whatever pain, strife, fear, undoing persons outside themselves are going through means all how zero.

"What's it got to do with me?" then.

The bulletproof people

Only fools can't see. I mean, it's like those who are destroying the planet for all of us, but benefiting monetarily from it: they seem to think that because they are not currently suffering the floods, the droughts, the famine, the lack of potable water, it means they will never have to reap the whirlwind of an utterly devastated planet.

There's been A LOT of selfish excrement going on of late. And I'm shocked that there are still those who act all "I am bulletproof."

Covid doesn't care what colour you are!

And who the hell are the people most adversely affected by "hotter" sunlight?

My point is we need to get real when we consider our worth and our vulnerability. Anything, anything at all can hurt any of us, regardless of our super high opinions of ourselves.

Be human, live human, treat others like humans.

Treating others like humans means reaching out to help how you can; hence why I created a blog aimed at empowering women suffering under endometriosis. In my latest posts (ABC Endo: A Trinbago Survivor's Guide) I make endo-copers aware why they are at high risk for Covid-19, something no one else might be alerting them to.

Treating others like humans means standing up against oppression and the spreading of hate, as I tried to do in my posts centred around George Floyd's murder and reactions by people holding variant perspectives (Trinbago Come Good).

Treating others like humans means especially never forgetting each person's potential to be taught betterment, to be connected with and to learn to aim for higher in self, words and deeds (Trinbago Shine On).

I hope reading these posts will help you be stronger, wiser, fuller; to have heart and to have a heart.

I blog because I'm human. I blog because I know, so are you.

Peace, love and peppersauce!
